Overview
The original Iristel website was out of date and didn’t do justice to their business. The information was laid out in a flat and monotonous way and there was no way for their users to buy or change services without having to phone into a call centre. My challenge was to re-design the existing website, in both a visually appealing way with modern standards with a simplified user experience.

Scope
I was the sole designer working on this project, working closely with a copywriter, project manager and developer. Collaborative efforts was key as there was lots of new content and feature sets that the client wanted to implement. The ability to find product pages and learnings was one of the client priorities. Clear ‘call to actions’ and scannable pages made for ease of use.
There was no existing brand style guide for Iristel, so all new assets and look and feel had to be created throughout. The use of style tiles helped with the lack of style guide and during the production stage. There was a manageable time table which accounted for the large amount of client changes and requests. Some constraints with the project were dealing with large workload with a smaller team.
Design
Process
✅ Create and manage sitemap, wireframes, style tiles and contribute/manage functional requirement document.
✅ Collaborative efforts with multiple team members and clients, from project start to finish to ensure highest quality of product.
✅ Develop all creative web assets and layouts. Finding ways to create consistent brand assets with no existing brand style guide.
✅ Edit, retouch and finesse stock photography images.
✅ Custom icon set development.
